First, Do No Harm!

With both the history and the current relevance of the original Hippocratic Oath as well as the Caduceus as a Medical Symbol in question, there certainly is ongoing belief in maintainence of the responsibility of "First, Doing No Harm". This responsibility is ethical, professional and personal. It is relevant within traditional, alternative, integrative and energy medicines. Respecting human life and demonstrating positive regard for the well being of others is a sacred reponsibility.
